Ilirija advances to ABA 1!

Season 2025/2026 was nothing short of a miracle for our club!

Youth team U18 started with winning national championship (first in club's history) in May.

As for the senior team...we ended national championship in semi-finals (best result in club's history) and achieved our main goal of the season - WE EARNED A SPOT IN ABA 1 FOR SEASON 25/26!

We look forward to the upcoming season and can't wait to grow our fans and supporters as well.

Transforming a decades old club into a leading talent launchpad in the region by investing into youth and becoming a knowledge center for basketball.

Legendary playground

Ilirija calls Hala Tivoli its home and it is de facto the most iconic sports hall in the history of Slovenia’s basketball. The arena sits patiently to turn back the clock and starts bringing in 4.000 fans per game.

Hometown - Ljubljana

Ljubljana is a beautiful city that puts an emphasis on being people-friendly, shows respect to its history and is a cultural center with many green areas.

A true heart of Slovenia, a country that ranks among the top globally in environmental performance index (7), area covered by forests (20), income equality (1), global peace index measuring safety (7) and Olympic medals per capita (9). A green oasis with very good infrastructure and an advanced educational system.

Youth

We support our future generations with over 3.500 hours of basketball annually. Team of 5 coaches and a dedicated fitness specialist make sure that the upcoming generations have solid basketball fundamentals, excellent physical skills and enjoy playing the game. Currently 100 children populate our youth programs and we will keep growing the number.
